Most Pyro players make the Pyro look like the noob class with their W+M1. For those who don't get what that means: W= walking forward, M1= mouse one...which powers the flamethrower. So pretty much it's walking forward towards the enemy constantly flaming them. :l That's annoying and very amateur. Sure it works, but seriously people use your shotgun/flare gun. (Backburner W+M1-ers are the wooorst)Now. Pyros that know the magic of Mouse 2...compression blasting are the best. In which you blast a projectile back at the enemy (and that means: rockets, grenades, bombs, baseballs, arrows and flare guns), or blasting enemies out of range or even into trouble (like friendly sentries or holes), or the most handy...PUT. OUT. FLAMING. TEAMMATES! It angers me, definitely when I'm Medic, and a Pyro player just stares at me while I am on fire. :l
The Pyro design here is based off what my Pyro avatar looks like that I play as. Pyro is my most played class, and I'm slowly learning to master the compression blast. I've at least once managed to compression blast every projectile, even rockets from a sentry gun. ;D

I try to Airblast and I occasionally get kills. As for saving teammates by putting them out, they shouldn't be running away from their non phlog Pyro.

Sometimes I am, sometimes it happens cause I literally will SPAM M2 when there's a Soldier in front of me, or sometimes I do it out of luck.

I have to admit, if I'm on the wrong end of a very unbalanced game, I tend to go out and pyro rage with a backburner, but I do TRY to use more then just that. And yay 2Fort love

I clicked this expecting a troll for some reason, one that jumped to conclusions that all Pyros are uselessly W+M1-ing. I felt so very relieved to see it was a sensable normal fellow pyro/Medic player that was instead mocking those petite fools... gah... As a Pyro I am often degraded as I climb the leaderboards and server scoreboards. I swear, half my points are from killing W+M1rs after I put out medics, spys, even scoots from their hideously thought out and predictable attacks. The Pyros, I mean. I am often labeled as a W+M1re out of spite, and noobs wanting to know why I'm so good. Once or twice I have been a hacker. A disguised pro. But, no, I'm just little old HΓΌhnerKopf... flaunting my Respectless Rubber Glove after I killed you for the twelfth time. After domination. Oh, why does my team win more? Because I don't leave teammates to burn as I go the LONG way to your base, not prancing right up to your front door like your pitiful mumbling abomination is doing. Oh, any I killed all your snipers with flares. Your soldiers? Oh, sorry, did my compression-blasting their rackets right back into their faces kill them??? OH I am so SORRY!

HΓΌhnerKopf just feels better than HuhnKopf... :\ Plus I don't get to use the cool accent! ^^ Anyvey, I main Backburner Pyro with a healthy dash of Medic on the side, thus my name shows both. And why is it that when I decide to play anything BUT Pyro there is a semi good Pyro that knows what they're doing in the server? And then the crap ones are running right past me, W+M1ing nothing as they attack head on... YO! DUMMKOPFS! I AM MELTING! IMA MELTING GERMAN AND IF YOU DON'T SAVE MAH LIFE I CAN'T SAVE YOUR PITIFUL USELESS ONE! No? No... Nobody's going to extinguish me? Mkay. Only hurts you, really. Why should I care? Meh. 
... Bad Pyros[and Medics that heal one person and decide that they won't RUN to save the ΓΌber they do have when I am killed...]... Bad Pyros annoy me... >.< I mean, new kids I can understand. Hell, I am new! I came with F2P, I just happen to have played 200 hours, thats all. Over 90 as a Pyro, but I understand nobody else has that time! But, if you are honestly NOT trying to make an effort to do this better, notice that what your doing is wrong and if you're gonna get better you gotta do something different, choose a boring repetitive class. You'll be more help W+M1ing as a hoovy than a pyro...
Now, I must comment on the actual piece that drew me in from the colorful bright, awesomness thumbnail! It's shaded really quite well, and OH MY GOD COLORED CORRECTLY! You remembered Pyro's GLOVES have YELLOW FINGERTIPS! I absolutely love the expression, too. It may not look like one, you may not have even intended it, but there IS an expression, rather like a dog in despair after being told the cat gets the fish, not him... The teeth on the Pyromancers' Mask just complete the look so well...! And, I'm sorry, but I cannot get over the arrow. The arrow just... wow. Meh. Le gasp, someone that's realized arrows are deflectable, too! OO

Ahaha so true. Backburner+W+M1 Pyros sure are annoying. Though I have only had the game for about 4 months now and am still learning to play it decently, I know how to use the decompression blast. It's totally annoying when I'm not playing as a different class and the pyros just watch me burn to a crisp. <.<

Yeah it's all about being quick with them sentry rockets. XD I once did it 3 times in a row, but the engineer kept repairing the sentry so I could never take it down. ): And I kept getting hit by a second sentry just next to it...it was crazy.

Lol what? I think you don't understand what I mean. XD You pretty much use all the mechanics of a Pyro. Pyros that use M2 also use M1 of course! XD Just...when I say W+M1...that's...LITERALLY what they will do!! I have seen a Pyro walk almost halfway across a map coming at me with the flamethrower going nonstop! While I'm in a safe distance taking it out with a shotgun! XD

Pyro ftw! Pyro is my most played class. Then comes a medic, soldier and engy shares the same place. But as a pyro I like to play as a defencive. Keep sentries up. Remove sappers... and lure other players in front of my pal engie's sentries.
But really nice picture. Tho it would have been nice to see jarate in this pic too.... but the arrow makes up for it.

I quite enjoy using my detonator (not only does it give me mini-crits, but I can detonate jump xD). People are always so amazed by me just because I'm aware that I can use the compressed airblast..it's hilarious. I put someone out and they go to the trouble of using the "Thanks!" voice command, and I'm there going "...why?!"
I usually spam airblast when attacking a soldier...it's actually worked a lot of times, I deflect his rocket back at him and blow him up as soon as he fires it. xD Deflecting stuff is so much fun.
I've never lived long enough to deflect sentry rockets though xD
And I wear the Pyromancer mask too ;u; I have the Team Spirit paint, though.

I still can't understand how you can detonate jump alsdkjf. D: I just...can't understand the Detonator at all. Someone has explained it to me but I still can't grasp it. I prefer shotgun anyway because it finishes the M1-ers quickly anyway. ;D

Fire at the floor and crouch jump. You can't get as much air as you do with a rocket jump, but it's still a little more than the usual jump (and it lets me get into the BLU spawn on a certain map, ohoho)
I'm surprised mostly because most online gamers I've met don't bother acknowledging me (especially Medics)
I actually bought the team spirit paint, since I had money to spend and nothing else to spend it on.

Yeah most places you don't hear people say thanks, there are only a handful servers I play on where many people use any of the voice commands.

I taunt a lot, usually because I tend to finish off people in a safe area or when I'm surrounded by teammates.

Ahh I both love and hate 2Fort because of the large amount of Snipers and Engineers I always find there. xD King of the Hill's my favorite mode, but I'm too much of a coward to play on other servers. There's not much you can say when you play Pyro 24/7 (as I do), since he/she doesn't have very many lines...so I usually end up spamming the "Help!" command because I think it sounds hilarious.

Yes! I play mostly as medic nowadays, but I used to always play Pyro~ I hope to master him one day, so I really need to play him more...[I've only ever compression blasted a rocket once, and every time I try it again I get blown up XD]

Yeah it takes a while to time yourself to compression blast, rockets and grenades and sticky bombs are obviously the easiest. I've only once killed a Sniper with his arrow and that was out of luck. Other times I've managed it, but can never kill them with it.

Yeah but even still, there are really BAD W+M1ers. Many times I've compression blasted them out of my range because they just WON'T let go of their M1 and I easily finish them off with a shot gun. I've even seen them literally STAND there holding it down hoping I'd be stupid enough to walk into the flames!

But yeah, I know what you mean about W+M1 pyro's, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. I remember this one pyro on the opposing team who would constantly try to taunt after killing an enemy (going for an achievement I assume?)... in the middle of the battle... which made him such an easy target for me, hehe 8D And yeah, pyro's who ignore burning teammates suck, but y'know what's worse than that? Pyro's who don't spy-check :I

I know what you mean, The Pyro class gets too much of a bad rep. Far as I'm concerned each class can be noobish and annoying in their own way. To be honest, I think Spys are worse than Pyros but tha's a whole different rant

Oh yes. DemoKnights are my least favorite now. Because of the rang amount of melees they have and now they have the ability to self heal as well. And it's just..ugh. And I hate when I uber them and they just go ZIPPING away. :l Plus wtf Valve have you forgotten when "Demolition Man" means!!?
