Sometimes appearance can be deceiving
Here's a fun idea I got earlier today and decided to work with it. In the end, a fun scene with JB discovering how soft MM really is. Looks like all the lil' guy can do is to take it
Had fun with this one. I don't know what the size difference between them both really would be, but I made JB bigger here just for the idea to work. The background works as well.

By the way - if you put the words down before the word bubble, it usually fits a little bit better. I figured that one out the slow way.

That's how I ussually does it too, only this time I needed to edit the text after I was done with it, so I had to edit the bubble as well.

I think that may be part of your problem. Flash is far from the friendliest program for still images.

Hmmm, it's the program I'm using and it works well for me. I'm not very keen to change since it'll take an eterntiy to learn up a new program.

Paint tool SAI looks promising, and may very well be one of the best drawing programs out there, but it's pretty strictly for drawing.
Photoshop (CS 5.5) is my program of choice nowadays. It's bizarrely versatile, the feature set is immense (the layer effects alone...) and the learning curve is relatively shallow, thanks to the billion and one tutorials out there.

I'm glad you likes it. I think the main reason why I made this was because I wanted to practise to draw JB because I plan to add him to the game in the future.
They sure seems to enjoy it and MM isn't the kind of guy to leave a favor left unpaid. Be affraid, haha

Well, depends on how you're planning on tickle JB. They might not be "scary", but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be nervous if you come up with a certain method.

hehe yeah I mean when your in the lap of someone bigger than you and the most loved tickle spots on your body are exposed ( belly and feet) then you just know you'll be tickled
