I think she is my fave pony from the show; I do have a soft spot for her because she is one of the originals. Although Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie come close. Applejack is the only G4 mane pony I have and I have 3 of her, lol.
I use Photoshop CS3 to both draw and animate.

I find it funny that the polls I've seen have rated Applejack and then Rarity as the least popular members of the mane 6, yet of the people I've asked I've found two Applejack fans and one Rarity. 'Course, asking 3 people is hardly a lot of data to draw from but it still amuses me.
That's 3 more then me, though I don't have any pony toys. Do I want any? Well... I don't know. Probably not but...
I don't really know anything about any of the ponies prior to G4, for the most part, heck I didn't even know AJ was an original pony. '^.^
Oh okay, I was wondering. Personally I use Graphics-gale which is rather handy for making pixel art... but it doesn't let you save gif animations unless you have the full version, and unforunately I just have the free (but still highly awesome) version.

I know a lot of people use Gimp to make animated gifs, or you could use an online site such as Picasion to put stills together.

That's a lot of ponies. o.O A loooooot of ponies. I take it you've been collecting a long time? I won't personally be starting a collection of ponies anytime soon, but 260? That's impressive.
Gimp can do animations? o.O I didn't know that, though I haven't used it in months. I might have a shot at an animation at some point but the one I did try was pretty horrible. >.<

About 6 years. Impressive I guess - crazy definitely! Although in pony collecting circles my collection is fairly small, lol.

Collecting things is fun, and some people collect much weirder things then MLPs.
Hmm... might have to try that at some point. Animated avatars are certainly more eye-catching.

I don't really collect anything now but I used to have a massive collection of pokemon cards, among other things, at least until I gave them to my little sister... so I know just how large a collection can build over time. Point is, if you sat down and added up the total cost it would not be a nice thought... but if you compare that to the amount spent on food and other essentials then I doubt its that bad.

That's right - and if I was a smoker I would be spending far more. Plus, I can sell my collection any time I want and get most of it back. Not that I would sell of course!

Cigarettes... what a waste of money and health. -_- I will never understand why anyone would purposely destroy their insides like that.
ANYway, back to ponies. Compared to what some people burn money on, spending money on a pony collection is beyond justifiable. In my opinion spending your spare cash on expanding a collection; pony, stamp or whatever, is a better use then 'getting wasted'. Then again, I don't drink or see any appeal to alcohol so I'm probably biased.
