Description
Well, this is my second big GIMP project I guess. It's primary purpose was to help me figure out how to combine photos, which I did so I guess it's good. I combined four different photos here and all were pulled off the internet so I'm really hoping I didn't miss a copyright sign somewhere, 'cause I really did check. *crossing fingers, hoing this isn't illegal* The only thing I really hate is the fact that the light comes from different angles in every picture, so you can tell they don't all go together. It's a start I suppose. It will get better in the future.
Look! I can make a porcupine!

Thanks. I guess I have this THING with animals' eyes. I can't just leave them a natural color.

Well it's not always a bad thing, I think it's very creative what you do. I can just image that tiger, glowing gold eyes, black background and little fire fly like things around it >3

Hahaha. It's an image I ust took off the internet. If you want, I think it would be fairly easy to re-steal the image so you can add fireflies.

It may be hard cutting around the water and even then some of the tiger's missing, don't worry, I'm sure I'll be able to find one, it really just needs to be walking forward or something similar. But thank you for look =3

No, sorry. I never time myself with art. It's mostly because I never do a piece all at once. I'm WAAAY too A.D.D. for that. I'll do a few minutes here and a few minutes there and then suddenly I'll get really into something and pull an all nighter. (I guess I've never pulled a real all nighter. Usually I konk out around four in the morning and that's that.)

that's fine. i never bother ading up 'an hour here and 23.67 minutes there', but some people are obsessed with that.
all nighters are interesting. i pulled one once, but it was for harry potter, not art. *fangirl scream* i'm a td obsessed with harry potter, and am very happy pulling an all-nighter for them. usually my hand cramps up before four in the morning, so all-nighters ith pictures are tough.

Yeah, I did that when the sixth book came out. I finished the whole thing in under twenty four hours from the time the local drug store released it. The whole "first to get your book at midnight" effect was somewhat diminished by the people who drove to St. George (Town in Utah about half an hour drive away) And sat reading THEIR copies that had been released an hour before.

we went home and read seven chapters before passing out around 4. the combined suspense, gratification, reward, imminent sqeeing, and obsessed reading over a 28-hour span was too much. though i am happy to say we held off till we got home. people seriously sat there in the store to read? were lots of people there?

from what i could tell, they hollowed out a carrot, painted it a semi-skin color, used string to tie it around their head, and took a sheet, cut it to size, made it look filthy, and ran around squealing "Harry Potter, sir!" and "BAD DOBBY!!".

Yeah, you were supposed to feel sorry for her and everything, but she really just got in the way and dragged the storyline. I really liked Bellatrix. She was a fun character. The way Rowling played with Snape all through the series was great too.

no matter how sad her story was, i just couldn't handle her. she was just too pathetic. and drunk.
i love Snape. even though he' the evil teacher for a good 99/100's of the series, he's very, VERY cool. and it was cool that my mom and i guessed about him and Lily before the 7th book came out. we were right!!

Really? You guessed? That's cool. The biggest guess I made was that Dumbledore would be dead before the last book. Of course I didn't make that prediction until book five, so that kinda takes most of the awe out of it.

ah, if only if only. my sister too. she even came up with Dumbledore could have been an Animagus and turned into a phoenix. my friend's mom was better. she decided that Dumbledore must have wandlessly cloned himself while falling and then grabbing hold of Fawkes who happened to be flying by for the sole purpose of catching him and flying away to safety at Grimauld Place. she was desperate.

Yup, heard a few of those. My mom was set on the idea of his being an animagus as well. Then she thought maybe he had taken a potion to appear dead. Or maybe Voldemort DID kill him, but took a peice of his soul in as he had Harry's so Dumbledore could come back.(This theory came up during the reading of book seven, obviously.) The list goes on and on.

the desperate need people had was appalling. sure i wanted him to live too, but there's a limit between plausible and insane. i love hearing people try to explain their theories if they're really complex, though. how's this-
Harry actually had a girl twin sister who's birth was covered up for her own protection. when Voldemort came she was hidden and when the Potters' house blew up she was thrown 40 ft. across town, happened to land on some random trampoline in someone's yard, and was then raised by the random trampoline-owning Muggles. many years later, Dumbledore finds out about her, takes her away, and explains everything. the sister then, and i quote, "does some stuff for a while" before coming to Hogwarts during Vodemort's latest, final attack (they got that much right) and saves Harry by turning into a unicorn and giving Harry everlasting life which she had previously given to Dumbledore(who'd just been playing dead). she and Harry are reunited and everyone lives happily ever after.
weird enough for ya? and they were serious.
