This is a picture basically of how I am feeling, quite often. I'm proud of my work, for once. I used a mechanical pencil and a No. 2 pencil, and my fingers for blending. All on a plain, average size peice of white paper. I haven't cleaned it up yet, though.

Anyway...

The girl feels small, alone and forgotten. Also as if she's being walked all over, in a crowded area of New York. In her head, the song, "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls is playing in her head. She stands there, waiting for the end; but it never comes. It's cold down there, hence the trenchcoat she's wearing. Nobody notices her, so she's about to get squashed.

This picture can either make you happy or sad: I'll let you decide that one for yourselves, but tell me what you think. Please. Thank you all so much for viewing her.
