MAN.This took me SO long because Photoshop did NOT want to cooperate.
:/ I did a sketch of this char about a week ago and go around to coloring it and whatnot...and then went overboard. x.x; It was a nice change of pace from the usual things I've been putting out, I think.

I totally had to look up pictures of horses and gazelles for the non-human half of her body. My mind does not understand animal anatomy. XDD

Woooow...This is probably one of your best coloring jobs EVER! You do gradations very well. I especially like the colors around her hooves and on the feathery wing.

You got some seriously cool texture work going here! Love the chaotic nature of her, with the one 'demonic' wing and the other 'angelic', and it looks like you followed up the animal anatomy just fine! She's definitely the sort of temple guardian you don't want to meet in a dark alley!
As far as PS, I feel your pain. I still hardly use anything else (mostly cause I have more content, brush sets and filters for PS and like how it works better than anything else I've tried), but I notice that once I hit about 3500ish pixels on either side, it tends to make my Wacom chuggy and slow, no matter how few programs I have open and how much ram I have.

I know all about PS being a bitch on ppl. that last scene pic i did couldn't be done on regular PS. I had to use elements because it could keep up with my wacom pen better than PS. but maybe thats because elements uses less RAM on large pics than regular PS does, I dunno. *shrugs*
