On the bottom row are her first form, her outfit as a soldier for the rebellion, and what she would look like as a crystal gem.

Herkimer Quartz was a rough-cut soldier for homeworld, who was damaged in her first battle and eventually found by Rose Quartz, who healed her. Herkimer joined Rose's cause and fought for the rebellion. Late in the gem war, she was sent on a mission to spy on a home-world regiment that was acting strangely, and was never heard from on Earth again.
She was poofed and left for dead after being found out as a rebel spy. Her gem was found by a small splinter group of gems that had taken advantage of the distraction caused by the war to steal from Home-world, and after re-forming she joined them. She now roams the local cluster as a neutral gem, part of the same band of thieves.

Herkimer Quartz is a very strong and loyal, though rather clumsy, gem who has short-term memory problems and little intelligence.
