In legend, moonstones are said to be solidified moonbeams fallen to earth. Of course, we know now that moonstones are formed by the intermingling of two varieties of feldspar, which then cool in layers to form a stone with a bright, shifting sheen. So, there are two ways I could go about Moonstone's back-story - she could be a stone fallen to earth from an early reconnaissance mission, or she could be the result of a mistake in a kindergarten. I decided to leave it ambiguous.

Moonstone has no memory of anything other than Earth. She took form for the first time she can remember in the frozen tundra of the north. Fascinated with the world around her, she has wandered the earth for many years. She knows quite a lot about humans, and has a strong sense of empathy for them. They're her family.

Strength: 1/10 Reasonably strong... for a small human. Complete weakling by gem standards.

Agility: 7/10 Since has no strength to speak of, and no natural weapon, she relies on evasion in a fight.

Confidence: 6/10 "If I speak up, the worst that can happen is I learn something. If I don't, I might put someone in danger."

Willpower: 5/10 If she's really interested in something, she'll spend days on end on it. If she isn't, she may well put it off until the earth itself de-orbits the sun. So, pretty much average.

Social Skills: 4/10 She tries. She's at a bit of a disadvantage due to her size and upbringing, it's difficult for people to see her as an equal and not a child.

Charisma: 7/10 Being small and cute does have its perks.

Stamina: 3/10 She has high endurance compared to humans, but not much at all compared to other gems.

Creativity: 6/10 Not bad. Not great, but not bad.

Empathy: 9/10 Very empathetic, especially toward humans. She does her best to be kind. At the same time, though, she's learned the hard way that being too open with people can lead to trouble.

Humor: 5/10 I've split this stat down the middle, because she loves jokes and puns, and sees the world as a humorous place; but she's also terrible at telling jokes.

Discipline: 7/10 Her powers are strongly linked to emotion, so she's had to learn at least some control to keep accidents at bay. (more on that under skill/special)

Intelligence: 8/10 Quick learner, lacks experience.

Perception: 5/10 Could spot a bee from fifty yards... and completely miss what's right in front of her face.

Luck: 4/10 Little things go wrong for really stupid reasons a lot.

Skill/Special: 5/10 It's a trade-off for her. She lacks most of the usual gem powers - she's unable to shape-shift, has no natural weapon, and can't bubble other gems. (She does retain the ability to regenerate, and can store a small amount of items inside her gem.) However, she has minor healing powers (At this point in time she's only been able to heal humans, but she may develop this power and learn to heal gems too) and some control over the weather. She's mostly able to control the winds, though in cases of extreme emotion she has been known to bring storms. At this point, she can only control wind (aerokinesis?) intentionally.
