After Rani found the little boy at The mountain pass passed out and alone, she had carefully gotten the little boy onto her back, and with the utmost care she made her way into the lands of the Tree of Life. She had narrowly been missed by Banya, who would have had his way with her for his own pleasure, and the human, because.... well.... let's just say Banya had his own reasons to dislike humans, that this little boy's life may have ended before he really had a chance to grow and learn. As she made her way through the sanctuary of the lands of the Tree of Life, there were many animals who she passed, some not even sure what they were looking at on her back, having never seen a human before, let alone a human cub. Others knowing full well a human was resting passed out on her back, and figured Rani had her reasons for what she was doing and that she would explain her actions later, which she would. Some did come up to her and inquired why a human was with her, some of them being aware that human beings had been barred from entering the Tree of Life's lands by decree of the Great Ancestors of the Past, but Rani soon assuring them that it was the Great Ancestors themselves that were permitting this child be brought to the lands.

While Rani was worried about the state the little human cub was in, she also prayed that the boy did not wake up til they reached the tree, so as to not to fall off and injure his fragile state further. One thing Rani was relieved about was that the cold no longer was gonna be an issue with the little cub's survival. As she neared the den of the Tree of Life, she was met by members of her pride, both her children, adopted and blood born, as well as Nirmala and her growing family, and her uncle and mate. All of the pride members had mixed expressions on their faces, but at the very least, none were having a meltdown at the sight of the little human on her back. They were either looks of concern, curiosity, or waiting for Rani's explanation for her actions. She was thankful no one so far had a look of anger or disgust at the boy's presence.

"Nirmala, can you prepare a few medicines once you've looked this little one over. He needs care," Rani requested.

"Of course my Queen, please follow me inside," Nimala insisted.

"The rest of you, please follow us inside. While Nirmala looks him over, I have quite a story to tell you about this morning," Rani assured them.

"I'm sure you do love. And I'm sure this will be an interesting one," Kion assumed.

"Indeed," Surak agreed, giving a slight chuckle, which caught Rani by surprise.

Soon, everyone followed them in, and each of the cubs took turns trying to get familiar with the scent of the boy on their mom/aunt's back, as his hand and arm hung off the side of her back.

Another chapter to my story of Siri being found Siri is a human character I developed who has some very unique traits, such as the ability to understand animal, and see just as keenly in the night and day as the lions of the Night Pride can. Other talents may surface as time goes on.
