Description
At a time when all the cubs of the next generation of the Night Pride, both by blood and adoption, had grown up, we find ourselves among two very familiar Night Pride Members. They hybrids, Baraka and Nya. The two had grown up together under the watchful eyes of their adopted mothers, Rani and Nirmala. Eventually, they developed feelings for each other, and those feels turned to love. How they fell in love is a story for another time, and is a rather funny one, but at this point, the two had decided to start a family of their own. Nirmala told them that, while there was nothing unnatural about them having cubs, they just had to be prepared, since they were hybrids, there was a very strong chance some of their cubs would be born to be fully lion or fully tiger. Nya and Baraka weren't worried about what their children would look like, they were their children, no amount of looks would ever change that.

And it proved true. Nya had mothered twins. And, one of them was full on lion, and one was liger. But there was one thing that had caught both of them by surprise, they hadn't expected. Their cubs had also inherited Winter Lion features as well. In any other scenario, Baraka would have demanded an explanation, but in this situation, he knew the reason. It was because of his own lineage. His biological father was technically a winter lion, but one who cherished the circle of life, and had fallen for a tigress, Baraka's original mother. So, he knew that it was because of that heritage, their cubs had taken on some of their Winter Lion ancestry. His daughter, the liger cub, had the Winter Lion's fur color, and his son, who was lion, had inherited the eyes of winter lions. Rani, having cast away her prejudice of appearance long ago, couldn't be happier to be a grandmother, as was Nirmala. Kion didn't show any coldness towards his grandchildren, but he worried for the cubs' safety, as there were some animals within the lands of The Tree of Life who still were jumpy around winter lions, and there were still remnants of Vihar's follower who might try to exploit uses of the cubs of the hybrids. The siblings of Baraka and Nya had not yet seen their niece and nephew, but, the proud parents knew they would see them soon enough, for the time being, they had to pick out names for their cubs.

So, I wanted to show that I didn't forget about my OC Nya the Tigon, but I also wanted to show that, eventually, the two did become mates, and now they are parents of the next generation of members of the Night Pride. I decide this time around, one cub would be a liger, and one a lion, since the two are hybrids, I feel it would make sense that they have cubs that are fully lion or fully tiger, alongside hybrid cubs. (I know this can't actually happen in reality, but Disney bent the rules already with a roar that could lift a mountain, so bare with me.) I haven't chosen names for the two cubs yet, but the liger cub is female and the lion cub is male.
