So, in an alternate reality, while Ash was visiting Alola, Ash had bumped into a rare Pokemon that no-one has spotted before. But before he could catch it, it caught him off guard. The next thing he knew, he was back to his preschool days. Professor Burnette, who was Professor Kakui's wife, and was pretty much a mother figure for Ash in Alola during his stay found his predicament adorable. But she also knew Delia Ketchum had to be notified, because she would be wondering why her son had not come home to pay a visit. At his new age, Burnette couldn't allow Ash to travel back to Kanto alone. Once she let Delia know of the situation, Delia found the whole scene to be too adorable herself, and couldn't wait to get a chance come down and see her boy like this again in person. Pikachu of course is completely bewildered that his trainer and buddy is almost as tiny as he is now. He had no idea Ash was ever that tiny.
