(There are really fewer stories that OC characters love Mettaton or other characters like Undyne or Alphys or Gaster...honestly I am not innocent in this XD BUT I love when I see other stories where the main OC interacts with others or watches them like Zinn Mettation ^^)
I wonder if she watched a lot of TV when living with Toriel in her house and watching Mettaton along with Asriel ^^

She did. For a long time, Zin never really spoke, or even paid attention.
But seeing the flashy shit Mettaton did on TV, it sparked and soon her interest
was in him for a long time. She started to smile, laugh and play with Asriel;Β
they soon talked a lot more and became nearly inseparable. She REALLY
likes Mettaton, as much as she likes Asriel. Even in her more, well, genocide
form... She likes themΒ Β
