I restarted this request SOOO many times it was originally a simple ref, then it was a flat coloured bust but now its evolved into a "shaded" headshot, i hope you like it TLK-TojoFan, goodness knows you've waited long enough .

His eyes are red-brown as you said TLK-TojoFan but i thought piercing red fit the tone better. I was also going to make the bg red like you wanted but i made the mistake of drawing everything on one layer including the grey and i don't know how to erase it without potentially ruining his outline..... If i figure it out i'll get that version to you.
