Commision work for Shoguneagle
Sergeant Matilda "Matty" Reese and Sergeant Lizzy Aldana, two Koensayr Manufacturing BTL-S8 K-Wing gunners, temporarily-assigned from Orange Squadron to Striker Squadron of New Republic Starfighter Corps' Special Missions Command.
Matilda has a lean and athletic form, with pale skin and close-cropped dark green hair, and hazel eyes that possess a metallic shimmer, and seems much younger physically than she actually is, being 22 years old. She is friendly to most people, but professional about her job.
Lizzy Aldana is a tall, curvaceous woman with tanned skin, long brunette hair and dark brown eyes, roughly 26-27 years old in age. Lizzy is typically very calm, cool and relaxed, and often endures her comrades to enjoy themselves when off-duty.

Never understood the bright orange jump suits. If trying to hide from Stormtroopers after being shot down.

I always took it from the perspective that if pilots are shot down then the are more likely to be in space than planet side, so you need them in something bright to help find them.

It only seemed like the tie fighter pilots had an enclosed helmet. (space ejection) But for an exciting movie scene, the audience needs to see facial expressions.

This is sci-fi fantasy and not fiction. Just in general, the K-Wing looks more for ground attack (lots of wings) than something for space only. (like taking out AT-AT on Hoth)
