Description Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. — Chief Seattle

One of my favorite quotes.. the feeling of connection is something I hold very dear. Likewise, disconnection appears to be the one that that affects me the greatest. I've spent a great deal of time seeing connections lately and this is a result.

Just discovered it , and well i like the meanings into it , and the way you photographed conenctions by woody thing .
when i fullview it i see a bit of noise on it unfortunately .? It may be my computer or resolution of it , but i think with a noise reducing thing this image could be better , it would give the wood another dimension , as in 3D thing .
Well at least it's my point of view anyhow

That's got a real Buddhist feel to it. I love people who make such observances of the ordinary. There's a little girl from singapore in my faves. Her name is Manjimaru, her photo is called YinyangNiao. If you get a chance, look. The little thing is a great mnd, in my opinion.

I love patterns and symmetry. This is almost perfect in that regard. I like the detail in the wood, I can almost reach out and feel that texture. Nice work

judging by the bird poop running down the wood, i'm guessing this is on some sort of wall or slanted structure?

I find it beguiling when a human-animal uses an inanimate object to express infinity's equilibrium when that object is as much an element of all as everything else.

Irony makes me laugh a little laugh.

Wow, I so feel that. I have been feeling a tad disconnected lately (in all manner of ways)...it's why I started the Global Postcard Project today. I suddenly realized that, if I'm feeling disconnected it's because I've unplugged myself somehow. What better way to get reconnected than to plug in to that feeling? Community is one of the defining philosophies of my life right now, being closer to people, to life, just diving in and being involved (not something I think you necessarily have a problem with, miss Busy-Pants ) in the world, getting "out there" and facing my dreams head-on, whether it's being an artist or becoming closer to the people I know, I think it boils down to befriending, connecting with, myself. First and foremost, that.

This is a fab phot for that. Homing in, target locked. Connection? BULLSEYE!

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who likes to look up once in a while

People tend to only look down, and all that they've lost, and forget to look up and see where they got to...

Thanks for making me smile, Milady
