Description
As much as I love the pretty photos from my trip it was necessary to get back to my usual style. I love repeated shapes that tease my eyes and warp my brain. It's something that continually inspires me and it was impossible to miss on the santa monica beach. It's good to be back but the trip certainly reinspired me on so many levels.

As I scry, with my little eye, I am able to view only the reflections, quite a nice space break up and a very cool design in itself, thx again

I found this photo to be rather sterile, but at the same time I was left with the image of people slowly baking in the sun on a hot day at the beach...very nice. *S*

Better with the contrast, but still could be upped. Pops, but not enough to punch me in the face, you know?
I'm glad I help fix you boo-boo Danielle.

anyhow... this makes me want to spin... because when I tell people I've taken up spinning they think I mean like stationary biking
but, it is way to hot and stick for me to really want to touch any wool...gyah...
*returns to looking at the shininess*

ohhh funky!
i've seen a few shots like this before which are amazing. i think if you had a more silvery highlight on the lower parts of the bikes, rather than the dull grey, it'd look "100% OMGF"!!!

I think this photo could use much more contrast. It's sort of flat... I don't get that *pop* that (in my opinion) should come with a b&w photo.
Still, I like the rest of the photo too. Bravo!

Your use of shape, light, reflection and repetition always astounds me. This means more somehow though as excercise is (in this case at least) repetition. The use of monochrome works well here given the chromatic bars and reflecting light. Excellent work as always.

nice shot... I think the b/w treatment is key to really seeing the detail and repitition in the image.
