Description
The iguanas in Costa Rica are not your pet store variety, they're huge and they're everywhere. This is one of the usual suspects at the resort, who seemed to follow me around a lot so I called him Lex. I'd say he was preening for me, wouldn't you?

The pet store variety are usually Green Iguanas, and they can indeed get up to like 5 feet long. I can't pinpoint this one's specific specie though, I don't have my iguana catalog with me

It's a black iguana or known by: Spiny-tailed Iguana, Scaly-tailed Iguana, Wishwilly, Ctenosaura similis and yes I've seen the green ones get quite big I think it was the mass not the length that got me
