This is a super cool piece. I kind of wish that there was more of the mouth showing, or less because the framing is strange where it cuts off. But the detail of the shot really is amazing.

The awkward crop is the result of shooting through the wires a million years ago haha. I had no idea what I was doing but I thank you

one of my favorite animals next to the Cheetah. I love them... All of the Big Five and many of the safari animals. Im South African, and seeing these pictures of Home (in other profiles) and the beautiful animals, its just beautiful. I also used to work in a Zoo in South Africa, and worked with Lions, and i must say what an experience. anyways helped bring back great memories thank you!. I have my own lioness posted up hehe. actually its a house cat but hey, if your interested go have a look! hehe thanks. beautifully done

It's a good shot, perfectly in focus, enough to see the fine fur details.
The poor lioness looks a bit sleepy

DAmn, the cat eyes are so intense!
Good aperture, focusing on the lions eyes and nose
what kind of lens did you use ?
Cheers from *mangatobbey
