And this is why I love Denver Zoo lions. they are beautiful, and ever so willing to pose for me! I am not sure which of the lionesses it is, I think it's Natal, but I'm not sure(there was no handy volunteer or keeper around to ask).She was lounging right next to the glass at the inside observing area out of the sun. Unfortunately I have a bunch of shots where one of the visitors was petting the glass(why? I have no idea), and I would get a hand in my shot. So try and ignore any fingerprints you might see on this photo.
