I have a question and I will be asking other people this too but how excacty do you come up with an original species? I'd love to make my own that I will also be able to crochet into amigurumis(another hobby of mine) but I don't want my creation to look like absolute trash

hmm, i think i just take inspiration from the things around me and it all just comes together somehow. I also play around sketching different ideas of how the species could look, and then develop a final design based on that. i love the idea of amigurumis, though! best of luck on creating a species c:
