This is my idea of why Mighty the armadillo isn't present in the games as well as how Knuckles can hang out with Sonic without worrying about the Master Emerald too much. Β This pic took a long time to draw, but that's due to figuring out how to do the background. Β

Good job on both Mighty and Knuckles. My preference here would be seeing them fighting over the Master Emerald so that both characters' facial features would be visible.
I like the color of the Master Emerald though honestly the background is a little blurry. I enjoy the attention paid to the columns and main structure though.
