I saw *izumika 's lineart called "Give Me A Colored World" and thought it was very cute XD She asked people to color it for her if they felt so inclined. Alot of nice work came out of it, so I decided to give it a spin. I also missed coloring with markers, so it was a nice fit to brush up on my skills.

It was strange to color someone elses work. You can learn alot about a picture by coloring it in. I was able to print this out on regular computer paper (although the lines weren't mint, it was alright. At least the lines didn't bleed at all). I made a few mistakes here and there, but that's to be expected...

Oh, and you might notice some redish dots here and there. >.< These weren't intentional. While I was coloring her skirt with the marker it was getting too dry to work with. So I put a few drops of colorless blender in it to wettin it again (a trick I learned, it's handy for quick fixes and reviveing old markers. But if you do it too often the color becomes lighter). Well, after I added the blender I shoot the marker a bit to get the ink flowing out... but I guess I shook it too hard. When I opened the cap red-orange ink came pouring out all over my hands (which cleaned off nicely). I wiped it up, but when I went to close the cap again I didn't realise there was ink along the rim, and the snapping-shut motion of the cap made the ink splash all over my shirt, and left a dotted ink trail going up the page....

Most of it isn't noticeable, being that the leaves mask some of the color and alot of it went on the skirt itself... but oh well XD It adds character!!!
