gorgeous! are the prismacolor pencils a lot better than cheaper brands? i like to use colored pencils, but i don't like the effect the ones i've got produce. i like those flair felt tips, too, although i find they bleed if you use them with other markers. you do beautiful shading!

Electric sharpeners work best.
The wood is a wee bit soft, but there are no better colored pencils that I know of.

I mean, there are notes and comments flying all over the place.
BTW, your "UNRELENTING" drawing is a superb example of genius.
If you think it is messy, then touch it up while you use magnifying glasses or a magnifying glass.

thank you! I hate texting for a number of reasons.
It's not good for society as a whole. We all need social interaction and the social skills that come with it.
Of course the net is a great tool. The technology today is doing wonders with these chips and all. However, we always go to extremes. It's just starting to hit the fan. Wait 5 to 10 years from now.
Oh I know about the glasses. Sometimes I have to take them off because I see too much lol.
The name Unrelenting is because it is timeless (like much of my work) If you owned it you would understand. I'm not crazy about posting my work on the net because you can see different things for years lol True. On here? What view does it get? Seconds, minutes? You really don't see much at all.
One thing you should do. It's a little better. Bring it up full screen and view it about 4 to 6 ft from your moniter.
Try to give it about 5 minutes. Think about it. Do you stand on top of a piece of art on a wall? We'll all not viewing art properly here. We view on top of a comp screen. What, a couple feet. That alone kills the work here and anyone else that does abstracts and not straight foward realism. Yes, their work suffers also, but abstract artists get hit harder. Actually, I can't really put my art into a catogory. It's really not true abstract as defined years ago.

Writing (you call it texting, I believe) is a passion of mine.
I read well written books, to sharpen my grammer, vocabulary, and to unravel my writing style.
I have had a book in the making for awhile now.
Like you say, there are constant interruptions that consume much of my time.
Family, pets, moving,financial strategy, and more.

in this day and age having a passion for writing/texting is probably a good thing. Glad to hear you're writing a book. Having a passion for writing I would say this may be your destiny--writing.
However, don't neglect your social skills off the net. It is becoming a major problem already. The net is a much different form of socializing and will never replace normal social skills.

I'm not going to try to teach you about writing, but as you know, you have to grab the reader by at least the first chapter, if not sooner, to keep them turning the pages.
