Description
I saw some people drawing Sol for the eclipse today, so I thought I'd take a crack at it as a little warm up after I got back from seeing the eclipse myself! I wasn't in the path of totality, but it was still pretty cool. Also, I've been wanting to draw Sol for a while now, cause I always thought it'd be neat to round out that iconic over the eye marking a bit to kinda mimic the eclipse? I like how it came out for sure, though I'm not sure if I'm 100% sold on the rest of the design. I like the idea of him being a generally darker cat, but I definitely think he needs more white to look like Sol...but when I tried adding more white, I felt it took away from the ominous mood a little. Idk, maybe someday I'll play with Warriors designs more!
