The paper was so shit to work with, I got so frustrated, so walked away for a few months before re-working it. I will try again on better paper.

Colored pencil? Wow I also really like the design of this creature! I do see the purple highlights goes well with the blue. I'm having trouble with colored pencils but I also learned the crayola ones I'm using are dumb because they don't blend at all.
