Description
Ok so
Was having a chat with Nesiss and explaining I wanted a 'fursona' or Equisona that was seperate from my shape-shifting 'Mooner' fursona reprisentation thingger.
See my first equisona was a black stallion but they are such a pain to colour.
So I designed the white mooner but it was too, typical?
So I discussed my ideas of a seperate entity to reprisent me to the equine community.
I told her about a mare 'Stardust' I used to rp using photos of the morgan 'Cinnabar Gold' (whom we cant find any info on all of a sudden)
I love chocolate palominos and oneday want a morgan horse that colour.
The more I discussed it, the more it fit.
So
Equisona, take two. (not for harpg)
MoonFeather (aka StarDust)
Breed: Morgan or Morab
Gender: Stallion or mare
Height: 15hh
Colour: choc palomino with silver dapples
Markings: Four white socks, white star, teeth-like markings on lips.
Eyes: Ice blue
Mane & Tail: White'ish and long
Hooves: Dark brown or black
Here comes the kool part
Drawn entirely with a mouse! Over approx 5 hours.

Hm, it's something new in seeing digital deviation in your gallery. I have to say that I prefer traditional ones, but it doesn't look bad

dunno if this is your Cinnabar Gold, but found a site that has a bunch of registered Morgans pictured on it. Looks more like a fan site. One matches, and is named Cinnabar Gold.

You should try digital more often, this is beautimus. Okay, so I am a bit confiesd on the equisona versus fursona deal, but oh well, that's alright.
I just like looking at all the pretty pictures.
The tail is superb!

Fursona reprisents moreso me in 'spirit' I feel like changeling, a shapeshifter type who has feline, equine and fairy aspects.
Equisona is just a equine figure that reprisents me just like a character.

The anatomy is very lovely, I like how long and slender she is. The shading also looks really good, especially the face and shoulders. Her facial markings are so interesting and unique looking. What a long tail she has, it is very pretty. Chocolate Palominos are very pretty, I have a memory of seeing one at a show who was kind of chocolate/golden altogether and packed with muscle +sigh+ He always stuck in my head.

Must be the week to finalize equisonas, I just started putting mine on canvas too. XD
I'd love your critique on the WIP so far. (my most recent deviation)
What a gorgeous specimen, great job! THe soft feel adds a sense of mystique that I really like.

Thanks a lot for looking! And traditional might work better for this character, just in my minds eye.

thankyou, I worked vry hard to get it as real as possible, still weak in alot of areas but getting better. If I had a tablet that drew direct to screen (which a friend of mine has) it would be by far better XD

LostArtemis In reply to moonfeather [2008-09-17 15:07:58 +0000 UTC]
how would that be different from other tablets? I thought they would have to draw direct to the screen...maybe I'm not envisioning that concept correctly.

moonfeather In reply to LostArtemis [2008-09-18 11:07:56 +0000 UTC]
usual tablets draw on a squre but the mouse appears on a screen so you have to get used to moving the pen like on a peice of paper but it appearing on the screen.
With this one I saw, the tablet is a screen it shares with the computer..so when you draw on the tablet..its exactly like working on paper...you lean and draw on a screen. so more acurate.

o.o I wish.....I had money.
Stupid private college. Stealing my moolah.
Too bad the only ones I've been able to find on eBay that I can afford are the Bamboos. I'd need one with a screen like you described in order to be effective.
+ do you know of any other "discount" providers? Wacom's site never has sales...
