Prompt: The calm before the storm.

Featuring: Gudrun and Garen

Summary:

This scene happens short after Garen's and Gudrun's fight, and before the great flood happened:

Garen: "It is still raining.... I doubt it will ever stop. Before everything goes down the river, I just wanted to say I am sorry. I don't know why my words hurt you so much that day, but I just wanted to tell you I said it out of anger and frustration"

Gudrun: "Don't apologize. It was just a word... it doesn't justify my reaction towards you. I still try to explain it all to myself..."

A long silent pause followed while the two wolves starred at the never ending rain outside.

After some time, Gudrun spoke again: "I am sorry Garen, I- wait...? you hear that?"

Suddenly a sharp howl torred through the endless rain dropping sound.
It was clear and loud a signal of warning, a sign to flee and to evacuate this precious land.
Nobody was save here anymore.
