Amane leans against the fence, her breath leaving swirls of gray on the cool evening air. How many years had it been since she'd purchased a horse as an eventing prospect? Far too many.. After the accident, she'd wanted nothing to do with the sport. "Never again." She'd told herself. But after hopping abroad one of the stable's horses and popping over some of the old cross country jumps, the thrill and excitement of the sport rushed through her veins, and she knew that that was where she belonged.

"I want an eventing horse." She'd said to Kaky after thinking over the decision for a few weeks. "A black one."

After searching long and hard, she'd found the perfect horse. 16 hands of pure muscle, speed and heart. The beautiful horse's name was Ghost, and she knew it was love at first sight.

Leaning there against the fence, watching the powerful horse plow through the acres of snow, she knew that she'd made a good decision. This horse was going to take her places. "Cati, bless this horse."
