The original will still exist, it's not going anywhere We're not going to delete it or anything like that. If that is what you were wondering.
If your referring to Polish and you were worried it won't maintain what the original is, don't worry about that. TGTP is everything that TGT was but more, it's not taking away from it, its adding more to it..

This is ambitious but I am concerned that TGT itself will never actually get finished. You should focus on one project at a time, and not divide up the work so much so even less content comes out.

The thing is, TGT was a draft. Though it took off and people began enjoying it, it wasn't a thoroughly written project. Tails Gets Trolled Polished is everything we wanted the original to be, but more. The only issue is that a lot of the desired misspells and grammar problems (Which was the ironic comedy for several of the fans) will be removed, but it will be replaced with intended comedy.
Also the quality decrease in art is so we can produce more TGT in a quicker fashion, as we stated and which you know. You're right, splitting the task would make this all go even slower. The solution is that we plan on halting the main TGT project for awhile, if not all together. It won't take us a lifetime to catch back up and from what we have been writing for polished, we are completely ok with this approach.
Polished will also give us the ability to work closer with the fans again.
In TGT, even if we lower the quality? It wouldn't result in the outcome that we want. All i can say is that to all those that will miss the original is to either, read the original as much as they feel like they want to, or to take our word that we have some great content in store for polished. Worse comes to worse, we will end up continuing the original, so it's not a big deal if things don't turn out the way that we expect. Fans will still be getting our comic one way or another.
TGT might not get finished either way. TGTP on the other hand, will be produced like clockwork and will likely reach its conclusion like before TGT ever would. We want to place TGT into the type of platform to where we can actually finish it, and fix it in the process. We will make a post about this soon.

We're very excited about this. This gives us the chance to optimize certain points earlier in the comic, such as the Troll Slaiyers. There will be 5 or more characters in their group, mostly comedic.

Polished will be the comic as it was intended. Though the original will continue and conclude, Polished will follow suit and fix most of the errors that we've missed. We thought about merging it at first but after working on it, we've realized how many things that needed to be altered and it wouldn't work so well with a merging, but this is perfectly fine. The original will be a lot more raw, whereas Polished will be more tamed and focused.

Me and Lazerbot are currently working on both TGT & TGT Polished daily, so we're making a lot of progress with it. Once we get our internet back and get some petty drama out of the way, it should smooth out the creation process a lot. My estimate would probably be, a month or so for the first chapter to start airing. But the pages will probably be coming out quick, since most of it has already been drawn.
