I'm so done animating for today..... it took forever to get to this point -_- and it's still not finished >.<I just want to know if you guys think the timing is pretty much ok here. there are a few problems with Marks walk at the end and I'll finish tweaking that tomorrow when I come from school.
Hope you guys like it so far

I used Pinnacle studio to assemble it. the animation itself is pencil and paper

in this frame it seems that Aaron's head is smaller, and in addition he seems to have sprouted a neck in the next frame - and not the volumes nor the angle gives an indication that there is a long neck - but at a foreshortening.

yeah.... I was thinking of editing that frame in painter when I start coloring it ^^'

the shirt is nice.
you're right that the walk at the end is wonked - and there are no eases on most of the actions (things snap about, instead of accelerating/slowing down).

I'll work on that today. I just have to finish with my studies first.
maybe I should make more frames? It's so annoying when they are so close together.... >.< but in a way I think it works a bit better if it's a bit snappier some friends told me that when the animation is colored the frames seem to move slower... I'm not sure though.... I'll just edit a few major things and then sort the rest as I go

Hey lady! You keep getting better, every time
You've got some really great and strong posing... and your drawings are nice, clean, tight and easy to read, which is also awesome! ((I animate messy, so cleaning up my work is quite a chore D)
And the way Aaron goes to ~almost~ punch Mark... brilliant! Great tracking and timing!
I've got a few critiques and pointers for you though
The way that poor Mark fellow hit the wall... he hit's it a little too soft. It's a timing issue, and can easily be fixed, though ... You just really need to remove a few choice in-betweens to speed that up for you!
An other issue I'm seeing is that both of these characters keep gaining and losing volume. Heads shrinking and growing... and Aaron gets really tall at one point. This is something to just keep a lookout for in the rough stage... but you'll have a better handle on it as you keep animating!
And finally, Aaron's walk at the end is very stiff... and I'm not sure if it's the case ((cause I can't slow it down to check for sure)), but it looks like the wrong arm is moving with the wrong leg. In a lot of walk cycles, Shoulders/Arms work opposite of Hips/Legs so that we can stay balanced.

I'm posting this tutorial link here on a cartoony walk cycle done by Dermot O’ Connor that you may or may not find helpful ... but the basics are still there, and exaggerated by this cartoony tear-drop character shape so that it's really easy to grasp.
I might have a few handy animation books to suggest, is you're interested! You're doing great, and I'd love for you to get even better with practice

thanks
yeah... I've noticed that in many pencil tests the original drawings are very very veeeery sketchy, and that always makes me feel sad for the poor cleanup artists
yeah... about that part when he hits the wall...... I was to lazy to rescan the whole stack of drawings XD and I was also too lazy/tiered to take out a few frames when editing.... I kind of hurried up because it was late and I had a test the next day ^^'hehe my bad....
God I have always had problems with that!!! but it was worse before than it is now. And I think I can easily fix that in corelpainter once I start coloring
got to love technology
yeah.... I thought there was something wrong with his walk but I just couldn't wrap my head around what it was, but now I see it better. hmmmm..... I'm gonna redraw those frames and see if I can make the right arm go with the right leg and make him leave a bit faster
Animation books? I have the Illusion of Life but I never had the time to read it
but I'm gonna take it with me when I go to college
I think it's going to came in very handy
and I know there also is the Animators survival kit and one more.... but I can't remember. They are like the Bible in animation from what I heard
Thanks
and looking back at my old animations I really think I came a long way
and I'm gonna keep going

This still looks good. Two things though.
1.
The head drop that mark does is fine and is a nice touch. The model visibly shrinks in size however. It returns to normal after that for the walk off screen. If you redo that frame, it will look great.
2.
The walk off screen probably has too many steps. He's angry and is leaving. It looks like he is deliberately making little steps though. I have made the same mistake in the past. I don't think it is a matter of speeding up the animation or dropping frames, you may want to try two steps instead of three.

I kind of noticed that.... in a way... but I wasn't sure I'm gonna fix that in painter and perhaps ad a bit of color to see/decide the look for this
I'll redo those frames today right after I finish studying for a test
thanks

I agree with Komical on the "deleting" a few frames. And maybe a longer pause before Mark lowers his head. But overall, I think it is lovely! I love it when he walks away <3

that was a bit my fault because it was kind of late when I assembled this and I was tiered so I didn't notice to many faults at that time XD but I'm not gonna forget next time

I think it already looks really neat *makes me want to animate again*
O well, when you tired, you tend to overlook quite some things. So no worries

Oh wow, this looks great!!
I think my only critique is that you delete a couple of frames right before he hits the wall for the first time- because as of now, the movement looks very smooth and it looks like he is falling gracefully against it, which I don't think is your intention. If you take a frame or two out, it will look like he's hitting the wall with more force. I know it's hard sometimes to take out frames once you've spent so much time drawing them, but I've found that it can really strengthen the movement.
Everything else is pretty good! The consistency of the characters is great, I have a terrible problem with that lol

thanks I actually forgot that I was supposed to take out a few frames (it was kind of late and I had a test the next day so I was in a bit of a rush XD ) but I'm not going to forget to take a few frames out next time
it's hard even to add a few frames -_-' not just deleting them....
hehe I know the feeling n_n had problems with that too and still do but it's a lot better than before
