I love Professor Membrane very much, he's a great character and he plays such an important role in the show; especially in Dib's life. But even though he's a very intelligent scientist, his parenting skills...eh..They suck, okay, they SUCK.
But I don't blame him. He works 24/7 and is a single father with two children that he can't even see personally because he works all day. I get that, but come on. I believe Membrane loves both of his children, but I've noticed he favors Gaz more than Dib only because Dib wants to be a paranormal investigator and not a "real" scientist. Paranormal investigators are technically scientist too, they just specialize on different things. I just see that Professor Membrane is WAY to close-minded and he needs to spend more time with his son. Dib's the one with the bad reputation, don't make him feel worse! If anything good were to happen in the a IZ universe, it would be this. Membrane, sit down with your son, and give him a hug. It's all you have to do!
I teared up a couple of times drawing this. I'm not gonna lie.

Indeed, it's so hard not to get feels when drawing these types of pictures. Membrane should spend more time with his son. ;-;
