Nightfilly Moon decides enough is enough.A villains a villain, no matter the screen time, and so she invites Prince Sombra into the group.
Of course Discord is happy about it, another guy in the group!
And for anyone curious, Prince Sombra is eating rock candy for his snack; see my other photo for the rest of the group eating their own snacks.

Thing is Sombra has the potential of being a better villain than how he was portrayed in the Crystal Empire episode. Yes a villain is a villain, however, more good screen time, more and better dialog, more background information that makes sense and isn't cliche; this all would have made him a more fortifiable character villain and would also allow Hasbro to bring him back if need be. Again, I see a lot of wasted potential by the Sombra I saw and would like to see more of him

Cliched, how so? Well I suppose being a Brother's Grimm buff, the troupe of the Jealous Sister kinda seems cliched, but Nightmare Moon is still pretty, though in her design I would have had her Nightmare Moon form be her Princess Luna form, she seems more regal as Nightmare Moon.

Never saw the Grudge, but I understand a good Mysterious aura plot. However, in my not-so-humble opinion, it seemed that Sombra had been like 'the taste that people got hooked on but wasn't given enoguh to be satisfied.
Its like "here! New flavor of the day!"

Okay, I don't wanna spam. I posted this on another deviation relating towards hate on Sombra.
For those who don't know, King Sombra is suppose to represent Sauron from Lord of the Rings.
- Both are pure evil
- Both lost a previous battle and we're being resurrected in some form, other than bodily
- Both have very similar designs
- Both share little to no dialogue, speaking only in laughs and whispers.
The only thing that really bothered me about King Sombra was that he had little to no screen time. He's the kind of villain that most people would appreciate if he lasted more than 2 episodes. Definitely needed more time, which is a shame, because I saw potential for an absolutely incredible villain.

It's very unfortunate that he had so little screen time :\ He, as you said, had so much potential that was wasted. Hopefully the horn flying at the screen wasn't just for dramatic flair...
