My one question, why is he named Friday?
Because Monday was taken?
Because he likes to party?
Because he always comes right before a huge hangover?

His mother was a housecat named Wednesday (named after Wednesday Addams) and when she became a loner she wanted give one of her kits a name to remind her of her old home. She didn't quite catch the movie reference and thought she was named after a day of the week. So she named Friday after a day too.
Oh, and Friday carried on the tradition and named one of his daughters Sunday (Sunny for short).
