YAY for second chart. This time we have Knockout's partner Breakdown. It was interesting to come up with his life story. Also, his armor...that damn thing took so much time to do. So, read the whole description to get to know about his life and enjoy art XD I put so much effort into these things, geez.

Note: I didn't include Silas and Terrorcon version, since I don't take these as Breakdown. Breakdown was himself until he died, after that it was only his body which was turned into the crime against nature. I will show you these versions, but I didn't want to include them here, i wanted lean Breakdown line.

And yeah, you can cry now when I reminded you of his death. I cried so much then, so yeah, he was a dear character to me.

Infant

Breakdown was born into the big earth pony family with tradition of building and farming. When he was born, he was bigger than and average infant and liked to be feed very often. Both of his parents are very big and strong, thus it didn’t surprise them Breakdown was so big and hungry even as infant.

Foal

Because of his size, Breakdown had always problems with control of his strength and body. When he was child, he was always falling somewhere, smashing into something or breaking things, because he didn’t fully realize his strength. His father was always trying to teach him, how to use his strength properly and he let his son to help with his work. Breakdown liked to spend time with his dad, even when he wasn’t very good in building. He was always shy and not very communicative, and because of that, he never had any real friends as child. He was spending a lot of time alone, or with family, this made him a little paranoid of foreign ponies. School also didn’t help very much, he was afraid to join classmates when they were playing games, or in the class, because he was afraid he would break something. Still, he was jolly and he didn’t care that much about being lonely, but he had his dark moments. Not all children were nice to him and some picked on him for being too big and clumsy. They even prepared traps for him, like holes in which he could fall. He got used on it after the time, but he didn’t trust anyone beside his family after that.

Teenager

When Breakdown reached his teenage years, he decided that he would stay with his family, instead of going to school. He knew he was never the smartest one, but he could be useful at home, where he could take care of his siblings, help his parents and also take care of grandparents. His family was living on lonely place, thus they had a lot of place to build things and do farming. Breakdown had also many places where he could train control of his strength. As he decided to stay home, he was able to learn how to cook and become good at it, even when food sometimes ended up on the floor. None of his family members were ever mad at him, because they knew it’s hard to cook with big hooves.

Young adult

Breakdown didn’t exactly know what to do in his later life. For now, he was happy with his life at home and with family, but he was unhappy, because he wasn’t able to build things like his father or do proper farming. He was helping his family, but he felt he needed some purpose. This came when he met Knockout. He was exercising, he hurt his hoof when he once again didn’t fully realize his strength and then he fell down the hill right on Knockout. Young unicorn healed his injury and Breakdown offered him a place to stay in his family’s house. They spent few days together and Breakdown felt well around Knockout. He was always shy, paranoid and afraid of hurting anyone, but he felt fine with the small unicorn. He admired how beautiful Knockout is and felt very honored when he got offer to join him. After the talk with his family and thinking it over, Breakdown decided to go with Knockout. He felt he finally found a real friend. They were traveling for some time and met other Cybertronians; they also met Bulkhead. Green pony was having break after the work and they had a little talk. They got along very well and Bulkhead told them to stay for few days. Knockout and Breakdown accepted and they also helped Bulkhead with building. They spent few days together, talking a lot, laughing, but then they returned on journey, hoping they will meet again.

War

When the war began, Breakdown followed Knockout’s decision to join Decepticons. They met with others and Breakdown thought the best place for him would be as warrior. He didn’t know about others, but personally he found friends in Vehicon lines. He was still shy and paranoid, but he got to know Vehicons were very friendly and caring. Breakdown went into many battles and in one he met again with Bulkhead, who was already part of the Wrecker team. Bulkhead told him they didn’t have to fight and maybe he could also join them. Breakdown declined it, because he decided to follow Knockout and he swore loyalty to Megatron. For the first time, they separated in peace, but by time they became enemies. Years passed and they went on various missions that also led them away from Nemesis. Breakdown saw Knockout starts to feel alone, because he wasn’t able to find his family again and he knew Knockout needs him. He was always ready to protect his small friend. He also missed his family and knew he may never see them again, but presence of Knockout made his look on world better. War made Knockout more apathetic, while Breakdown ended up angrier, because of all that fighting. It seemed to him that there is no end to it, no solution and it will go on forever. He started to act recklessly and aggressively. The only one who could tame him was Knockout. They were very often on lonely missions and realize they became more than friends. After that, they were called back to Nemesis to check on Megatron.

After Breakdown lost his eye to Mech, Knockout made a patch for him. He also promised him that he would one day find a spell to heal the injury and get his eye back.

When Breakdown was killed by Airachnid, his body and armor was taken by Mech. They later used it as Silas’ new body and later it became infected by Terrorcons. When Silas died, Knockout took him out of the armor and he decided to lock Breakdown’s body away, so maybe he could have some peace.

Present

When Cybertron was restored Breakdown was revived. He was back in his normal state, before he got killed, but he is still missing his eye. Everyone was revived close to someone who knew them and mainly to ones who were close to them, thus Breakdown appeared in a close distance to Knockout. The medic found him and they both agreed on never letting go again. This also meant to live together in one house. Breakdown didn’t have problems with accepting peace and getting along with others. He and Bulkhead decided to forget about hate and work together as builders. He is content with his place in town and that they can finally live in peace again. Maybe one day, he will ask Knockout whether they could have a family.
