You really did capture the Wendigo's nightmarish essence... whenever I see an image of a wendigo, it tends to remind me of my late step-grandfather who was Ojibwe.

I grew up hearing stories about this creature, so I get chills seeing your picture because it almost exactly depicts the description of the Wendigo from the stories I used to hear. Awesome job

This is really amazing, but personally I like the pencil sketch more. I'm not sure how you should take this, but your Wendigo picture is the best I've ever seen (not too horrendous but amazingly cool) and it was honestly the only way I could picture my own Wendigo character [link] Your picture really influenced it's design.
