This the first in a series of character designs done for a final project. Say hello to the Calypsi, a race of fae-like ocean people modeled after nudibranchs (sea slugs). I've developed a fascination with unusual ocean life lately and these little guys have been the creative result. The colors and designs of all of the Calypsi characters I've come up with are based off a real variety of nudibranch. I can't, for the life of me, remember the species that The Fool is based off of though.
