note: eh, I didn't make the slits in his rib cage glowy enough...anyhoo, I think I mentioned this before but what makes Fhorjj special is that he has a bio-furnace of sorts inside his chest that carries out most of his metabolic functions, the slits in the ribcage provide ventilation for the burning fire.

note: The blotchy patterning on his hide serves as camouflage. Members of his subspecies live in subarctic and arctic mountain ranges, so their hides are colored to blend in with the snowy rocks. This kind of therdaq is an ambush predator, they can lay in wait for prey on a mountain face for hours, staying as still as stone. Passers-by have been known to walk within a few feet of one and not even notice it, mistaking it for a snow covered rocky outcropping.
