I have waited with eager to see what will happens next, and it's again totaly awesome. ;D
It's seems that this door was indeed leading to some sort of secret garden. I like how you
made the green light and plants at the end of this tunnel. It reminds me somehow to that
old saying: "The journey is the reward." Which somehow fits into the whole rain story.^^
But back to the topic, the light at the end of that passage (which you made awesome too just
that Engravings and plants, so nice oriental and/or indic like pattern, as in a story from thousand
and one night). That secret place with that old being, that is waiting with the bowl, looks like a
Guuru that is waiting for his pupil. Or a supernatural being (which ins some case it is), to give his
legacy to a new, choosen one.
Although...I remember you said that it is somehow the future being from that boy...that gives
new oppertunitys. Maybe it wants to warn him...or are that the boy revives him. Could it be that
this being and the bones, is also the boy from that picture in the house of this woman? So many
suggestions again, I'll wait with muuuuch excitement what will happen next. Please keep up that
awesome Work!!! ;D
Oh and about that animation with that catboy, that pictures you posted earlier, will that animation
or movie only aviable for your patreon supporters or free for all to watch?^^

Nah just kidding, I'll do that too with the readers of my fanfictions. Sometimes you need a little cliffhanger to keep up
excitement or give little hints. 
Especially since you have this aweomse skill to reach your fans (or at last me, I don't know how other peoples point of view is)
with story, imagination, ideas and the wonderfull color range in a very deep way. I can sense in many pictures from you (not only
Rain), the situation, what the character might be feeling like fear or joy, the different settings like the hot and dry steppe or the
fresh and clear air at a creek or fountail. And I think if art reach it's fans like that, and triggers this kind of emotions than it's
definitely special. Like that catboy who was standing on the turtle or fishing at the pond, it gave me some inspiration for
myself, so again thank you.^^
I looking realy forward to the (maybe short or long) move and/or animation with him (Although I hope it will not be an patreon only thing. If so, please tell me. Cause it would be another great reason for me to maybe join. Still wouldn't be the main reason for me to do it. The main one would be, because I realy want to support your talent. ;D )

Haha well I really don't want to play with the watchers that way, the free interpretations has a very big meaning for me, I'm pushing the idea of people getting what they needs, I'm showing them a Chaos so every form they notices are builded by their own minds, their own storys, emotions and structures.
It's similar as some of these guys which throws cards or bones randomly, and watching the random results , they makes the lecture. There's no benefit in a lecture which is reading something "full explained, defined" that's why I don't like Rain to have 1 official version.
I want to have readers as creators, I love the art which leaves spaces to this.
In fact I think official artworks really don't exists, the art is a kind of experience somebody has with something, the art doesn't exist without a person being conscious of it, so art is "perception", not a "work"; when I finish a painting, the art ends in that moment, and there's only the work left, the product. The art comebacks when a conscious watch it and transform it with it's own perceptions, and feeds from it to transform that energy into another story.
And yeah some little hints, a bit of general structure is required, specially for artworks which works with multiple sheets just like a comic, helps the flow feeling.
The movie will be for free, but only Patrons are available to follow the process ^^
