"U-Umm h-hi.."
Star isn't antisocial, but she is shy. She stutters a lot when she speaks, and if she's feeling incredibly nervous sometimes won't talk at all just to save her the trouble. She is cautious of new cats and most times won't go up to them at all, instead sticking like a bur with her siblings and parents. When she is put in society, she acts like she's never been around cats before. Her stuttering gets worse and she constantly embarrasses herself, from tripping over her words to tripping over a leaf. She is easily flustered and incredibly weird around other cats, to put it basically. And since the first few times she got embarrassed and teased so much, she has since avoided being social or doing social activities.

"Why can't I be like you.. it's not fair.."
Star really does have a self-hatred for herself, even from the beginning. She doesn't like the way she talks with her stuttering, her clumsiness, her shy and awkward personality, or her looks either. Others often call her vain because of her constant preening her pelt until it shines and avoiding getting dirty, when really she just wants to make herself feel 'prettier'. Because of her own insecurities, Star quickly grows to envy others, in fact almost everybody, because they are more social, more of a looker, better than her in her eyes. It's not hard for her to grow jealous of another, and when she does she avoids them and acts slightly bitter and weird around them. She also tries to upstage them, be above the cats she grew to envy over her younger years. Her jealousy gives her a secret, large ambition to be noticed, loved, above others, and it also makes her easily corrupted and manipulated.

Due to her spending so much time in the nursery with her mother rather than outside with other kits, Star did grow attached to her more than any other. Star also grew a deep admiration for Ember and does almost anything to please her, from learning battle moves to catching prey and bringing it back. Her mother is one of the few who makes her feel warm inside, especially when she's praised and noticed, and the only cat who makes her feel much much worse, more than anybody else could, when scolded. Star also picks up some things from her role model, so she has a huge soft spot to her around those younger than her, like younger kittens. She's generally just a motherly figure to little ones, with her sweet words and comfort that she tries to bring to all of them. She usually only shows her motherly side around younger cats, but when anybody gets hurt or upset, she turns it back on in that instance as well.

=[Perfectionist and Independent]=
"No! You're gonna mess it up! Let me do it by myself, please?"
Star is quite the perfectionist. Everything, to her, must be neat and organized, and just the way she likes it, and if it's not she feels the strong need to fix it. She is incredibly obsessive about neatness, and will sometimes just reach over and 'fix' somebody else's stuff for them, or even their fur if she thinks it looks dirty or messy. She doesn't mean to be rude or annoying when she perfects things, she just has an impulse to do so. Her need for perfectionism also makes her independent. Star usually doesn't ask for help on anything, genuinely afraid that if she lets somebody else help her on something they'll mess it up or not do it her way. She prefers to do everything on her own and in her own way.

"Hmm..I wonder how long you'll last? Let's see~"
Even though she's sweet and polite, she has her dark side like most other cats. Say anything wrong to her, take a pawstep in the wrong direction with her, and you're in a bad place. Her temper is short, and when she is pushed even a bit too far, she snaps. She simply just lashes out all her anger, at everything, at that one cat she's mad at. She needs a while to cool down afterwards, and most times will apologize for anything she did as soon as she gets back in control. She's also a big grudge-holder, never really letting go of anything bad anycat's done to her. She can forgive, but never can she forget. However, if that particular cat did something horrible to her, she can never find it inside herself to forgive them. No, instead she vows revenge on anybody who ever would hurt her or anybody she loves that bad. And another side of her that nobody else could ever believe unless they saw it- she is malicious in battle [for when she's older]. She likes to 'play' with her victims before killing them. Most time she taunts them while she attacks them, too. In battle, she is cruel to whoever her enemy is, and secretly enjoys fighting them and toying with them. As a kit, this may show as simply just playing with her food, which she'd simply get scolded for.

"Aww..Romance~ Aren't those two adorable together?"
Star does have one trait that makes her even more odd; She's got a huge lust for romance. She falls in love almost instantly and it's so easy for her to do it. She loves the idea of romance and chases after anybody she thinks attractive. However, Star's shy and cautious traits resolve to her being stuck in the shadows and most often never even getting to talk to he/she. Since she thinks very strongly that she can never find love herself, she still tries to help anybody else find it. She likes thinking of herself as a 'match-maker' in the Tribe, and is constantly pairing cats up and trying to keep them together. She also pulls pranks and scenes to assist the two 'lovebirds' with their 'romance'.

Koipaw padded through the forest, her bright pelt standing out against the dark green of the forest. Her delicate paws made no noise on the leaves and twigs underfoot, her pelt sheening, and her big green eyes simply staring ahead as if staring at a trail she was following. The small cat suddenly stopped, looking around quickly, her fur suddenly bristled and her eyes large with fear. After awhile, the apprentice calmed down, but as she continued walking, her stumpy tail twitched behind her anxiously, and she would consistently steal glances behind her. I can't shake the feeling somebody's watching me. She thought, just as she spotted the clump of herbs by the tree's roots. Oh, thank goodness! Now I can just get some of these and go back! Overjoyed, Koipaw rushed to the herbs, gathered the whole clump into her jaws and darted through the trees quickly, barely touching the ground, looking so desperate it may look as if she was running from something- which she was, if you counted the unknown it that Koipaw could sense watching her. As she ran into the den, panting, Koipaw practically collapsed onto her nest, which made her receive odd looks from her mentor. But she didn't care. She hadn't seen the thing that was in the woods, and she hadn't wanted to- plus, she got that catmint Wolfstripe had wanted.
