Actually, this little fella didn't move much at all and the air was calm, so it gave me time to adjust. my aperture was about 6.3 The background got so blurry because I went very close with my lens - I think.
But I'm glad you like it! I had trouble deciding whether or not this picture is acceptable or not. The good resonance on this photo reassured me.

Depends on the lens. I used 50mm. The focus distance of it is about 35cm. And it's cropped, of course
