If it has become too obvious, I have low self-esteem. I'm not gonna lie, I'm fat. Not horribly obese, I'm perfectly healthy (my doctor's checked) but for the most part I'd have to say I'm so-so on the happiness scale
. But I see all these beautiful women on TV, inmagazines, and in books that it just makes me feel so self conscious. Not to mention my older successful sister is soo beautiful and well I'm not
.Both my nieces and my family say, I'm beautiful but I just don't see it. I can't count the number of times I look in the mirror and try so hard to see the beautiful person they see. The beautiful woman I want to be. I used two base that were from my good friend ~TokyoLynn , I did make the one base in the mirror a bit bigger to fit. I hope it doesn't break your rules,~TokyoLynn
.I've done this whole thing from paint, including the background
. The girl in front is me and the reflection is what I would like to look like
. Yeah I know the outfit & make-up look odd, but cut me some slack. I've never used make-up at all before except for Halloween make-up. If you like please comment.Note: I've decided to leave it as it is, so far most people like the mirror effect.

Oh wow, u sound like me ^-^_not that-thats a good thing. hahaha, I'm also always looking in the mirror to find my beautiful side. Sometimes I find it to where I'm happy but other times I'm more like eh..and mope around. I only wish that we could see what other people see of us sometimes. Know what they're thinking of u. u know? I mean when people look at u it keeps u guessing. Like I'm like r they looking at me cause I'm ugly, do I have smeared make-up, is my zipper unzipped? Or is it because I'm pretty?

I just wanted you to know that you have struck many people deep inside by this illustration. Even though it is simple, it is perfect in any way, even though the subject of this is "imperfection".
Many girls (and even guys) have to face the mirror every day and judge themselves by what they see. What we see through our own eyes is not was most people see when they look at us.
I believe in beauty in everyone, when it comes to personality, looks, fashion, attitude, anything. No person cannot be beautiful through my eyes.
I am sure every single one of us can relate to this. Thank you for making this, for you have the inside beauty for showing us what everyone goes through.

Brilliant picture,a lot of people could relate to this.Even thin people.If you dont like what you see ask yourself why and how you can change it. The cloths you can change instantly if you want. Do things that make you feel good and the rest will just happen.Focus on your goals in life, write them down. Write them in the back of your diary, 3 things you want to achieve by the end of the year and mean it.Let me know how you do.My auntie told me to do this.

Who wants to be like other people? If we were all the same, with the same tiny body, and the same blonde hair, and the same blue eyes... the world would be a very boring place.
Don't judje people's beautyness basing on what society says.What kind of music do you like? What books do choose to read? What is what you like of others? Yo really find more beaitful a skinny girl than a fat one? You have a brain and you should use it to create your own criteria. Never let others tell you what is good or bad, right or wrong nice or ugly; discover it by yourself. And so others will do.
I have fat friends that dress like girl you made on the mirror, if you like this kind of clothes, wear them. If you like long hair, let yours grow. Enjoy your life and your body, you have millions of looks and styles to try. Have fun^^

Its not just because of my weight and in truth it only affects me when small minded people look at me like a freak, because of my appearance. And when they have the gall to talk about me when I'm in hearing range. Its other factors like family. But I don't wanna make them sound like people. Its a private thing.
I am trying to enjoy my life, and overcome others. I al actually leting my hair grow long, even though my mother thinks I look ridiculous. Thank you though for your kind words and encouragement:thank:

this piece really speaks! I used to battle with my self esteem as well...However, keep in mind that the "beautiful girls" you see in tv, magazines, commercials(...etc) are all FAKE! They are just an ideal concept of what society thinks beautiful is. I've seen those models, they are all ordinary (or maybe even ugly looking) without the good lighting, makeup, and many people who work on that one girl to groom her to perfection. A girl is beautiful if she believes herself to be so. Cheer up, you're beautiful in the skin you're in
