If it has become too obvious, I have low self-esteem. I'm not gonna lie, I'm fat. Not horribly obese, I'm perfectly healthy (my doctor's checked) but for the most part I'd have to say I'm so-so on the happiness scale
. But I see all these beautiful women on TV, inmagazines, and in books that it just makes me feel so self conscious. Not to mention my older successful sister is soo beautiful and well I'm not
.Both my nieces and my family say, I'm beautiful but I just don't see it. I can't count the number of times I look in the mirror and try so hard to see the beautiful person they see. The beautiful woman I want to be. I used two base that were from my good friend ~TokyoLynn , I did make the one base in the mirror a bit bigger to fit. I hope it doesn't break your rules,~TokyoLynn
.I've done this whole thing from paint, including the background
. The girl in front is me and the reflection is what I would like to look like
. Yeah I know the outfit & make-up look odd, but cut me some slack. I've never used make-up at all before except for Halloween make-up. If you like please comment.Note: I've decided to leave it as it is, so far most people like the mirror effect.

I think this is a wonderful piece to express how a lot of women feel about themselves. I have always battled with low self-esteem. Some days I feel pretty and accomplished and other days I wish I could look like someone else or be able to do the things I see other people doing. The grass is always greener on the other side! Just remember, that if we were all the same, we'd be robots and there wouldn't be anything original. Just look for one special thing about yourself every day, no matter how small it may be and you'll get through it.

I have the same problem, but people say that im wrong =/
Some people even call me anorechtic x/ every time i see a mirror i just have to take a second look xD hehe and im allways planning and worying on what im gonna wear the next day and such =o

I know the feeling sister friend...I believe we all feel this way from to time. I used to be really fat nearly pushing 200lbs sitting at 195lb I lost 55lbs now sitting at 140lbs which is a very good weight for me or so I'm told...but anyway...I guess what I trying to get at it is...I'm very proud of myself and am happy with the weight I am at now considering what I used to look like....most of the time I am anyway. hehe!

This is a really stunning picture, and I absolutely love the colors 
But if you are healthy, girl, I can most definitely say that you are beautiful. Plus, your beautiful inner character shines out, and makes you even more beautiful than all those make-up $%$&$# out there. And I truly mean that.

As for the superficial beauty- I know so many people who feel they are never pretty enough- sometimes I feel like that too- (around "that time" of the month usually!) but the people's comments here are true- loving yourself as you are is important; even if it sometimes feels hard to do.

Superficial beauty will end one time or the other...but ur art will be timeless....
What you can do is something not evryone can..n vice versa...
so just believe in yourself...
