If it has become too obvious, I have low self-esteem. I'm not gonna lie, I'm fat. Not horribly obese, I'm perfectly healthy (my doctor's checked) but for the most part I'd have to say I'm so-so on the happiness scale
. But I see all these beautiful women on TV, inmagazines, and in books that it just makes me feel so self conscious. Not to mention my older successful sister is soo beautiful and well I'm not
.Both my nieces and my family say, I'm beautiful but I just don't see it. I can't count the number of times I look in the mirror and try so hard to see the beautiful person they see. The beautiful woman I want to be. I used two base that were from my good friend ~TokyoLynn , I did make the one base in the mirror a bit bigger to fit. I hope it doesn't break your rules,~TokyoLynn

. The girl in front is me and the reflection is what I would like to look like
. Yeah I know the outfit & make-up look odd, but cut me some slack. I've never used make-up at all before except for Halloween make-up. If you like please comment.Note: I've decided to leave it as it is, so far most people like the mirror effect.

but beautiful people have the same feeling like you have.....not all the people but a lot. people say that i am beautiful....and somethimes i,m a model......but i have a low self-esteem to. i see every day people with big boobs araund me but i do,n have boobs ore hibs >< every girl is sad somethimes about things like that.

I know a lot of people who overcame their appearance problems, and that means you can too! :3 Put your mind into that goal! You can do it through exercise, proper diet and consulting people who knows the perfect style for you. <3 You can actually hide your figure problems with the right clothes. I recommend reading "How to dress" books. :3
No need to be perfect though. Everyone is beautiful the way they are, and beauty doesn't lie in perfection, sweetie. Go girl!

If your doctor says you aren't overweight, you're not obese. The people on TV are usually unhealthily skinny, and the ones in magazines are actually Photoshopped. I know this because I'm taking photography classes in college, and they talked about how they make the people skinnier, make their noses smaller, make their eyes bigger, etc. So what you are looking at isn't actually the truth.

I can relate to this myself, I did a piece somewhat similar in concept but done in a different way and I was too embarassed to post it. kudos to you to be able to share this about yourself! you're not alone in how you feel

I felt like that sometimes (still do) but these days I see different me's, (like one with horns, for example) and me's I used to be and me's I still want to be.
You start feeling better when you don't compare yourself to others, there will always be greater and lesser persons then yourself.

You're not alone in feeling this way. The media paints a false image of how girls and women are "supposed" to look, and because most of us can never meet those standards, we all feel ugly. I heard before that only 2% of all American females meet the criteria to be models, since models are usually far taller than typical females and have lower BMIs.
I've been told that I'm attractive, but I don't see it. Honestly, I'm only content with my eye color and lips
Anyway, there's a lot of emotion and power in this picture. I like it a lot, and I feel bad that you're one of those girls who has been plagued by the media's standards. The media is a bane of our society.

This is great. I think, just from seeing this picture, that you're just as pretty in a more toned-down way. I bet if you decide you want to look like the reflection, though, you could pull it off.

I know this deviation is quite old, but you have to be happy with the way you are and work with what you have. There's always something everyone hates about themselves and you won't always feel amazing, but a bit of confidence works wonders even on the most obnoxious people you ever have the misfortune of meeting.
Also, if you're fairly young, this could be puppy fat? I'm still kind of embarassed when I look at old pictures, I was quite a big girl years back. o_o But don't get to the stage I'm at now, I don't tend to eat what I should and while I'm down to about 9 stone, you tend to get skinny in weird places so the rest of your fat gets stored around the butt area. LOL
As for those beautiful girls you see on TV and in magazines and books; believe me, they didn't always look like that and you can probably bet that they have a really good airbrush artist ready to accentuate their best features or cover up their flaws.

Yes, I understand this feeling perfectly. Maybe not always, cause I sometimes try to have more self-esteem, but usually I don't and people see how low I think of myself. They try to convince me not to think so, but it's hard when you see girls who don't have the problem you have and they seem so happy..
But hey, one thing I always remember is that we all are beautiful in our own ways. You surely are talented so that helps a lot .

The painting is too good! And by the way I'm also fat..but life has given me a nice family and I guess to you too. Their love makes up for the most and rest we can do ourselves! So no worries!
