Ashfur and Hollyleaf, caught between Starclan and The Place of No Stars.I always thought, though Ashfur and Hollyleaf did murder, lie, and go insane, they were good, loyal cats most of their life. Would that count as nothing? Starclan might not accept them, but I don't think they're evil enough to go all the way.
Just a thought.

Gawd! Firestar killed cats too! He killed scourge! Brambleclaw killed his own brother! Lionblaze killed Russetfur!!! Dx wtf is up with ppl who hate ashfur and hollyleaf i mean they are just like Firestar Brambleclaw and Lionblaze except just sad and confused

Well, to be fair Firestar has only killed one cat (Scourge), and that cat started a war that got a lot of other cats killed and would have killed many more cats had he been allowed to live. Brambleclaw killed Hawkfrost because Hawkfrost was trying to take over the clans and was about to kill Firestar. Hawkfrost would have killed Brambleclaw if he had the chance. Lionblaze didn't mean to kill Russetfur; it's hinted that she was killed due to intervention from the Dark Forest. Either way, that was an accident.
While Ashfur never actually killed anyone, he still tried to kill his ex-girlfriend's kids because he couldn't stand the thought of her being with someone else and conspired to kill her father because he was bitter. But he still made it into Starclan, so I guess they agree with you on that one. I don't hate Hollyleaf (she's my favorite out of the original trio), but she went really crazy. I don't really blame her for her actions because her very existence went against the thing she held closest to her, the warrior code. But killing Ashfur was still a choice based on selfish desire; Lionblaze and Jayfeather never tried to kill Ashfur even though they went through the same thing.

the only reason Lionblaze and Jayfeather didnt kill Ashfur was cause they werent Obsessed with the Warrior code the way Hollyleaf was

But Hollyleaf killed Ashfur to keep him quiet about her past, not because of the warrior code. I'm sure her insanity that stemmed from the warrior code played a part in her actions, but overall killing him had nothing to do with the warrior code. She did it to save her humiliation. (My knowledge on Sunrise may be a bit rusty though; I haven't read it in a long time)

You're probably right XD I didn't particualarlly enjoy Sunrise, so I only read it once when it came out.
But what I'm trying to say is I don't hate Hollyleaf; she's my favorite character from the third series! Ashfur on the other hand, I don't like because I think he's kinda whinny XP

Yes, Hollyleaf/paw killed Ashfur and died herself later on in the book. In... Sunrise I think? Sunrise or sunset.
