I don't know if I qualify as completely crazy yet, but this thing is a serious labor of love. I think I spent at least twelve hours on this thing between sketch, inks and coloring. I'm obviously playing with a whole lot of 'new' things- Inking style, Deep Colors, Trying some shading, stretching my ability to pretend I can make backgrounds, using strange methods of boxing and trying to be funny. It ran the gambit between all these.I have discovered that I hate drawing spaceships. And space. And if you see enough pink-ish-red your eyes will want to bleed. Also some markers blend very well- some do not.
So- with all that out of the way, here's the first page of 'FTP's Puppet Show' - Part One, 'On Invisible Strings', Page 1.
Shirtless!Red is dedicated to BadLuckAlice , because really- I don't know who else he deserves to be dedicated to. (and if she doesn't want him, then Purple will be happy to keep him around.) -
Let me know if I need to make transcripts for this thing, because I am a terrible person with no skills and used the Comic Sans font. Because I could.
Credit and thanks goes to Lexana here on DA- who is credited with the awesome sound-effects that I took full advantage of.

XD That is -awesome-, because literally it just popped into my brain when I was lettering the page, and needed -something- that was legit-sounding. Plus, Miyuki is just kinda awesome, and somehow it worked. >D Sure! >> They are sortof a package deal after all. ;X (Though Purple apparently insists on going to bed fully dressed, Idk.)
<3 <3 The entire time I was sketching/inking/coloring, I was convinced that Red is reading an Irken translation of 'War of the Worlds' that Zim sent him. <<

BTW- The entire time I was doing this- all the hours of coloring, I kept thinking. 'BLA said faster is not always better. Faster is not always better. You are going to try and add shading. You are going to put stars in that space. Make it so.'

Why is everything reminding me to read 'War of the Worlds' ( Cuz everything I try to something interrupts me).

XD Yeees. I hadn't even thought about the blueberry cheesecake - (God, now I want some. Q_Q) and I haven't any idea why it was 'War of the Worlds' - but I like the thought that Zim just keeps sending them -stuff-, and eventually they have to do -something- with it.
And somehow I appreciated that it would be Red who was up late reading in bed. XD
