I like to think that since creatures very small and kinda bad at self defense panier takes it upon himself to protect creatures from potential harm and or predators

Also panier loves to absolutely bombard creatures with love cuz who wouldn’t? He often picks him up and carries him around, even takes him flying since creatures wing is broken, he knows creatures enjoys it, even if it doesn’t look like it does
