I have a strange feeling about him. In some way he's becoming more and more dangerously similar to Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. It's just dangerous. The way he wants to be more human might lead to him realize how rotten our nature is and just turn sides and deciding to get rid of everything.
[SPOILER ALERT for Civil war and Watchmen]
The time when he shot Rhodes in Civil War because he was ''distracted'' seems to not affect him at all, hell he doesn't even tried to save him. It's situation in Watchmen when Comedian shoot pregnant woman in front of Manhattan who could do something but he didn't due to his progressing isolation from humanity. He just doesn't care. It really is becoming terrifyingly possible.

The thing about Civil War was, it's that Vision shot Rhodes by accident, when he was trying to shoot the quinjet down. And why he didn't try to save him, he probably thought that Rhodes might still try to fly. It's not like Vision wanted to shoot Rhodes on purpose.

I know it was accident, but Manhattan in a way didn't wanted for that woman to die either. But well this comment was made before Infinity War so there goes my theory. Unless he reappears and becomes more Manhattan-ish. He even has girlfriend like Manhattan.

But you gotta agree that it would make very interesting plot for a movie. If of course MCU will remain good, because I'm getting worried after seeing what they want to do in phase 4. I'm afraid they might go in the path of comics.

Screwing of fan favorite characters. Pandering to SJW people, almost every new female character is either uninteresting or awful (usually both), changing genders and personalities of characters like Iron man or Thor for no reason, agenda over quality, that kind of path. Believe me, the last few years were TERRIBLE at Marvel and from the way Kevin Feige is announcing Phase 4 and what will be in there I think movies will be next. First sign is Captain Marvel, character that most people doesn't even know, don't care or hates (due to her actions in comics, they were terrible) becoming FACE of MCU and basically being a Mary Sue (as Kevin said, she is the most powerful. Why? I don't know), that they announced Miss Marvel (another flop character), considered adding America (AWFUL character) and started promoting movies NOT with good action or story or new interesting storyline, BUT with that there will be non binary character (or something else), like anyone cares about what gender or sexuality they are.

I see. For Captain Marvel, if Marvel Studios wants people to like her and to wipe away the bad stench of what Captain Marvel did in the comics, they will have to fix her. Look at Maria Hill. She was one of the most hated characters because of her role in Civil War, and look at how the MCU fixed her. By making her likable and keeping her out of Civil War. Who's to say that they won't do the same thing for Captain Marvel? I have faith in them.

But why make her FACE of MCU!? Now most of the people either don't know her or like her, she is not that interesting AND as it was said, she is gonna be the most powerful hero in MCU because reasons. There are MANY bad signs about future, like bringing Miss Marvel or FUCKING AMERICA CHAVEZ, just that they considered it is a bad sign. It doesn't help that actor that plays her seems pretty unlikable and from what I've seen she actually might be. They also give her movie (that btw has for now one of the LOWEST budgets out of all MCU movies, seems they don't believe in Box office record too) storyline of KREE SKRULL WAR! Something that should've been AVENGERS movie. It seems that Black Panther, even though it was VERY good movie, opened terrifying gates. People at Disney probably think that instead of good movies people want forced diversity down their throats, we saw that with Doctor Who, Ghostbusters and Star Wars and now it's time for MCU and in future it seems like 007 is next.

Because Iron Man might be killed off in Avengers 4. Besides, Iron Man was the face of the MCU before. What's wrong with that? From what I have read, so what you're saying is that only white people can be in movies? Is that it?

NO! OF COURSE NOT! As I said before I REALLY LIKED BLACK PANTHER, actually I think if they want new face of MCU Black Panther would be MUCH better choice as a face. The thing is with Cap Marvel is that she is not SPECIAL in any way, she has no story in MCU outside of her future role in Avengers 4 and ONE movie. Iron Man worked as a face of MCU because he had charisma and was genuinely interesting and people RECOGNIZED him. I have NOTHING against female heroes or other color heroes, for instance Wonder Woman or Blade or Black Panther. The problem starts when this shit is FORCED and the main focus is not story or characters, just the race or gender of characters. THIS is the problem that already infected comics and from what it looks like is ready to infect MCU.
I don't give a flying fuck about race, but I do give a fuck about BAD characters and characters they want to push into MCU are BAD.
Do you remember the times we were talking about Dr. Manhattan? Those were much simpler times.

At least in the MCU, he's part Jarvis, part organic/metal hybrid, and part individual consciousness from the Knowledge Infinity Stone. It may be platonic affection from me, but I am still in awe of this alien entity with a serenity akin to a benevolent, if disinterested, god.
