Hey everyone!!
A few weeks ago, I took time to watercolor the 4 of my Inktober 2023 drawings that I wanted to see in color  This is the last one to get uploaded, with fiery characters!

The black and white drawing:

I had much fun coloring this, but I noticed one "annoying-but-I'll-have-to-do-with-it" thing: one of my erasers left kind of invisible greasy traces on the paper, and these traces don't agree with watercolors: the change in texture makes the colors "flee and regroup" into droplets, so that the color is more intense on one spot, but that there is almost no color 1 mm next to it... of course, I noticed that when I started to color my drawings, meaning that I had used the same eraser on all my drawings without knowing that there was a problem  ...

so, first of all, that specific eraser will be used only for pencil drawings from now on; secondly, it was not always easy, but it was also interesting to work with these "no-paint-zones"... I adapted my coloring to the problem, used more or less covering colors depending on the zones and in the end it was truly interesting and cool to do this!  ... this one especially had a lot of problematic zones, more details means more pencil strokes, so more erasing

I hope you'll like my colored versions, flaws and all   and that they will bring a bit of colors to those who, like me, are experiencing a very grey month of January!
