A new creation featuring sterling silver and pink tourmaline. Of course I am sure most are wondering what did I do to make it this color!?!?!This is a new treatment I am experimenting in; originating from Italy. This is a electronic ceramic based coating that creates a rich color on metal through electroplating. It retains a metallic tint, feel and sound too. Quite durable.

Wow, that is pretty intense-looking! It is beautiful, but I think perhaps the coating makes it look a bit more like costume jewelry. Is that the only color the treatment creates? Does the coating reduce detail?

Id say if there is a loss of detail... its probably so slight that you don't see it by the naked eye. if anything, the coating seems to help gloss over the ring a bit since it is a tad thick (Speaking in terms of 100ths of a mm...)

well, maybe the max beauty is 10... so I was thinking that proportionally, a 2+ gain is pretty significant! okay, I think I just out geeked myself there
