Thanks - yes they are not popular animals sadly.

From what I have observed at least some of the negatives are unfairly deserved - whatever one's views, they are beautiful animals to watch

i think we can attribute 90% of all the negative views about them to Huntsmen trying to stir up hatred and justify their pointless cruel sport
its typical of us, we invade and develop on other peoples lands then get indignant when they shout about it
Sad they are as you say Beautiful animals.

Thank you, well I was using a pretty powerful zoom on my Pentax X90 - it was probably 25 feet away or so, but due to the first sun we have had this year it was quite happy just lazing around.

They tend to be seen more during February and March while they have their litter, so less likely to run away.

But yes, generally foxes are very wary of people.

It really doesn't look like a zoom, it's very good! We don't see many foxs around where I live, so I'd be more than happy to get a shot like that

Thanks so much, I could not believe my luck when the fox just laid down peacefully in the sun in the middle of my lawn !
